The SkinKareLady's Cancellation Policy

Effective as of August 14, 2021

Cancellations

All cancellations MUST be made at least 24 hours in advance to not face any penalty. Must Confirm appointment(s) within a 24-hour window prior to appointment to avoid penalty charges. Failure to confirm will result in cancelation of services & a charge of 100% of service & your appointment will need to be rescheduled. Any appointment canceled under 24 hours from the time of appointment, or failure to notify and not show up at the time of the appointment, will be charged 100% of the service fee. Any same day rescheduled or same day cancellations will be charged 100% of the service.

If the Client is 15 minutes late from the time of their 60 minute service, they will be charged $15.00 for tardiness. If the Client is 10 minutes late from the time of their 40 minute or less service, they will possibly be asked to reschedule on a case to case basis.

All "No Call, No Shows'' and tardies will be documented in the Client's profile. After 3 incidents of "No Call, No Shows'' and/or tardies, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 50% service fee for future appointments. All fees are due at the time of payment for the service. Failure to pay for penalty fees will prevent the Client from making future appointments at TheSkinKareLady until all fees are paid.

CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED ON FILE TO BOOK ANY NEW OR FUTURE APPOINTMENTS

Emergency Situations

Please NOTIFY IMMEDIATELY BY PHONE in the event of a personal emergency. These include, but not limited to, sudden illness, hospitalization, car accident, or death of you or a loved one.

Weather

You will not be obligated to come for your scheduled appointment in the event of an Emergency Weather Situation if you feel unsafe to drive in these conditions, and will be given the opportunity to reschedule your appointment(s). These emergency weather situations include, but are not limited to, Flooding, Tornados, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Severe Storms, and Icy and/or Snowy conditions.

Covid-19

In the event you have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days, or you are waiting for a COVID-19 test result, or have any flu-like symptoms, or fever above 100.4 degrees fahrenheit, you will not be penalized and may reschedule or cancel your appointment.
